Camacho Cigar Tasting Event

Join Camacho and Michelle Naranjo, April 30th from Noon to 4PM at Monte's for the Camacho Cigar Event.
All Camacho cigars, except Triple Maduro and Liberty, will be 25% off singles and an additional 15% off boxes. The Camacho Triple Maduro cigars will be 10% off singles.
There will be a very limited quantity of show specials, so make sure and arrive early!
After 4PM you can join Michelle Naranjo in Club La Gloria Cubana for appetizers, fine rum and a raffle for prizes. The club will be closed for the event from 3:45PM till close on April 30th. There will be an event charge of $10 for club members and $20 for non-members.

Join Monte's for Dinner and Cigars with Avo Uvezian.
Legendary cigar connoisseur Avo Uvezian was born in Beirut in 1926 to a family of talented musicians. His father was a composer and conductor of a symphony orchestra, and his mother a gifted singer. From his parents, Avo inherited his passion for music - especially classical and jazz - and he hoped to one day become a successful musician. In his late teens, he traveled the Near and Middle East with his jazz tri, "Lebanon Boys." After touring, Avo had the unique opportunity to be the official pianist to Shah Reza Pahlevi of Iran. The Shah advised him to try his luck in the United States, and Avo emigrated to New York in 1947.
Avo traveled the Caribbean in search of the finest tobaccos and the best factory for making his cigars. In 1982, he found both in the Dominican Republic. The Cibao Valley in the Dominica Republic was the ideal place to grow his tobacco, and master cigar producer Hendrik Kelner was just the right person to make his cigars. The partnership of the two passionate cigar aficionados would have amazing results - cigars in perfect harmony!
Avo Uvezian and Hendrik Kelner produced 100,000 cigars in 1986. By 1988 the first Avo was sold in New York City.By the third year, Avo had sold over 750,000 cigars! He soon worked out a deal with Davidoff to distribute his cigars globally. Today, three million cigars bearing the name of the jazz pianist are enjoyed by aficionados all over the world each year. In 2004, Avo released his first CD, entitled Legacy. Avo's lifelong quest for perfect harmony has brought him great success in not one, but two careers - music and premium cigars.
This full course dinner and cigar event will be held, Wednesday, May 19th, 6PM at the Luxurious Bien Shur Restaurant at top the Sandia Casino. Seating will be limited to 40 guests, RSVP and payment must be received before May 17th. The price per seat is $100. Avo has generously offered to share of his private reserve of cigars, which are not available to the general public. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased separately.

The best way to describe the flavor of the La Aurora Barrel Aged cigar is to imagine sipping on a freshly brewed espresso made with a complex dark roast. The Barrel Aged has a rich creamy complexion and subtle nutty and spicy notes. This is another great cigar from Guillermo Leon and Jose Blanco.
Punch Deluxe Chateau M Maduro -
Made in Honduras from an all Cuban seed blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Honduran filler leaves, this very rich and robust cigar is one of Punch's most flavorful offerings. More complex than the regular Punch cigars, Punch Deluxe has a hearty character with a nice woodsy overtone. Always consistent, this very affordable cigar is a welcome addition to smokers who have learned to appreciate a classic, full-bodied cigar.
La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurado Flechas Especiale Maduro -
Handmade with a Dominican Republic wrapper,: Ecuador binder, Nicaragua filler, these cigars are made by two grade seven master rollers hand picked by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. These understandably have a limited availability, they are packed in mahogany "Boite Nature" packaging to enhance the aging of each of these special cigars.
